Covid-19 honey bee project beneficiaries- the children of Unity College (for special needs kids)!

Thank you to everyone who assisted with our most recent Covid-19 honey bee project!

We managed to order a total of 101 crocheted bees- of which 78 were donated, 17 were collected and 8 were delivered!

The first set of beneficiaries to receive our RareBear bee toys were the children of Unity College, a special needs education school based in Chartwell. Unity College is one of the leading special education schools for learners who are mildly to moderately intellectually challenged. All their learners have special needs associated with barriers to learning.

After handing out the bees, the Junior Phase Head of department said: 'Our children were delighted to receive them, and have all buzzed home after a busy first week back at school!'
