Every year Supapele NPC does about 4 events and although we had a lot planned for 2020, including the ever popular (among the kids) Hooked On Books project, everything was derailed due to the Covid-19 virus. As the majority of our programs involve working directly with the children of Hillbrow and schools around Gauteng, we have been inhibited.

So we have decided to run our 3-for-1 #Covid19 initiative, in collaboration with RareBear Project, Rare Diseases South Africa and African Honey Bee!

We have ordered 100 custom made crotchet bee bears which are being sold for ONLY R200 each!

Each unique toy is hand-crafted by the disadvantaged women in Kya Sand and the profits are split between them and Rare Bear SA whom have created this employment opportunities (50%) and the AHB initiative (50%) which is dedicated to education, developing beekeeping skills, assisting with building sustainable honey-based micro-businesses in disadvantaged communities as well as conservation of honeybees through out rural South Africa.

As a final option you can either take your Bee home to cuddle at night OR you can donate it to a patient suffering from a rare disease through the Rare Disease South Africa initiative!

Order and pay for a mini crotchet bee from your friendly Supapele NPC member for ONLY R200, tell us if you are taking it home (delivery is an additional R100) or donating it--- and then let us do the rest!
