#YouthDay2019 with Hooked On Books SA to celebrate the Dlala Nje champions!

To celebrate Youth Day 2019, Supapele NPC partnering with Hooked on Books South Africa to help reward the 30pre-selected Dlala Nje Champions who outdid themselves by serving their #community, #friends, #family and #schools!

All the #children from the Dlala Nje community center were bused to the Wanderer's #Stadium for a day of #food, #yoga and #reading! At 10am, the the HookedOnBooks #cast put on an AMA-ZING #show, presenting 6 #children/ young adult books--- leaving each on a cliff hanger! All in an attempt to get the children interested in reading the books to find out the ending!

The perks of being 1 of the 30 pre-selected "Dlala Nje Champs"= each were rewarded a SCRUMPTIOUS #cupcake (sponsored by ButterCupCakes) and were given the #opportunity to PICK their favourite #young #adult #books performed on the day!

Each of the 6 books performed were also donated to the existing Dlala Nje community center #library, for any of the children to read and find out the endings to their favourite books! To add to it a TON of young reader books were also sponsored from Random Penguin house to bolster the Dlala Nje library book collection!
